This summer art camp is the perfect way to encourage your child’s creativity this summer and spark their passion for art.  The camp is hosted by certified elementary art teacher Britainy Guadagnolo and offers a 1 week class in a positive, nurturing, and fun home environment for students ages 4 - 7. Classes are held Monday-Friday in the mornings from 8:30 - 11 am with a short snack break around 10 am. Students will complete at least one project per day based on the theme for that week as they explore a variety of art materials such as watercolor, paper marbling, tempera paint, air dry clay, and mixed media. The price listed includes all materials and snacks for the week including an artist apron to help protect those stylish clothes!

The class will be held in west Arlington, Texas at the home of Britainy Guadagnolo. Weather permitting, the class will be held outside on a covered porch so student’s can enjoy the fresh air and learn how to incorporate nature into their art! If rain or high temperatures become an issue, we will move indoors. Parents are not required to stay for the duration of the class, however, they are welcome to stay and watch their children create and hopefully learn a few things themselves.

There will be two themes this summer Art & Nature and Meet the Masters.

Art & Nature
This class will explore different ways to create plants and animals with our art materials and we will also learn how to use items we find outside to make our artwork extra special!

Meet the Masters
The Meet the Masters class will help spark a love of art history in your student as they spend each day learning about a different artist and making artwork inspired by their art and culture.

All class content and projects will be age appropriate for your student. We will be learning how to use and enjoy the art materials as we create our project rather than focusing on a perfect end result. I have found that helping children learn to love the process often does produce a better end result and also develops a love of learning, problem solving and creating!

Upon receiving payment, you will be sent an email with more information including Britainy's home address, a map, and what to expect at Art Camp. We can't wait to see you there!
